Evaluation of my podcast

My podcast was mainly about the celebrity juice on Kim Kardashian. My podcast was successful because it was detailed and i was able to get other peoples opinion about it.

What i did in my podcast was recorded my sound on ' Logic Pro ' and then edited little pieces like placing the recording in places and cutting certain bits that wasn't needed, then when i was happy with it i found a free copyright instrumental on the internet and converted so that i was able to paste it underneath my recording.
After i pasted the instrumental i played with it and faded the ending and turned the volume down so we could also hear what the instrumental was playing and when i was happy with it i then bounced the recording which was putting the recording and the instrumental as one piece so as i made it smaller it became a MP3.
As soon as i was done bouncing the ' MP3 '  i uploaded it on sound cloud which was a easy process.

What was bad about my podcast :

- The audio sound , sounded muffled when it was played over and over .
- The speaker kept on cutting some of the interviewer so it was slyly hard for the interviewer to answer . questions and finish what he needed to say .
- People thought that it could have been a little longer and some headings where not really covered properly.
- When i was trying to cut the instrumental i found it very difficult because i wasn't familiar with the techniques.
- Whilst i was recording the sound, the beginning  i couldn't hear the first bit of what was being said , so i kept having to move things around , which was still hard because i couldn't hear it properly.
- I found bouncing a bit hard to do because i kept saving it it in wrong files .

What was good about my podcast :

 - Whilst i was editing the sound track i made some tiny fades with the instrumental which was quiet easy because all i had to do was turn down the volume which was on the left side corner which was good because it was east to locate.
 - Pasting the instrumental was quiet easy and i was able to move it it where i needed to move it
- It was completed and everything made sense
- I was able to get a interview which was important because i needed a male to give me his own point about what he thought about Kim Kardashain
- I got views which made me realist that people actually listed to my podcast and was interested in what it was about.
- Being able to finish on time was really good , because nothing was rushed and i took my time to sort out what was wrong and what needed to be in order.
- Being able to upload my sound cloud on my pod cast was easy.

The reason why i chose to make my podcast to be about the celebrity life ' KIM K ' was because both men and woman have a lot to say about her and many people have their own opinion about her, teenagers look up to her as a role model , adults look up to her for her fashion styles and men look for both fashion and her body ' Booty '.
The reason why i chose the instrumental in my podcast because everyone's familiar with the famous Rick Ross and he's music , it sounds lively and also classy so it suits everything that was said in the interview so it makes you want to listen to it and play it over and over.

What Broadcast and Non Broadcast Is

Broadcast Media :

Broadcast media is what its name implies. It is media that is cast broadly and freely for anyone to access live. Radio and free-to-air TV are probably the most common examples.
It is all media that is printed in hardcopy like paper in form. The most common examples are newspapers and magazines.
Mass media is media of whatever type: broadcast, print and digital that reaches large numbers of people. Includeing media such as pay TV, and Internet based news services, as well as the traditional media in the category of what its about.

Advantages and Disadvantages :

  • the advantages are it moves very quickly and has no delay so you wouldn't have to wait hours for what your waiting for to come
  • any programs or music will always be of recent and ready to use
  • it is also very trendy and informational for fashion people , T.v channels and even contact details
Its disadvantage would be

  • it could be illegal meaning many users would not b aloud to use it or may be licensed £140

Hear are examples of some broadcast media
BroadCast Advertising

you-tube is id say is the most popular broadcast media in many ways cause it requires a lot of information on it
  • you can find music on it
  • watch the television
  • and also surf on it
but they all have their own way of being published.

Non Broadcast Media

Non Broadcast audio is completely the opposite of broadcast (Obviously!) The main powers that non broadcast material can have, is that it enables you to pause, stop, rewind and fast forward video and, or audio as and when you feel like or if there is a need too. As non broadcast is not live or a continuous stream of media, it can also be played at any time of any day etc. Some examples of this can be videos on YouTube. You are able to view freely and leisurely as and when you please. The same goes for BBC iPlayer or your music on iTunes. Non broadcast can also be playing a CD, Listening to your iPod or MP3 player, or even watching a dvd on your TV. all of these examples mentioned are linked with each other because they can all come to a halt at any time and are not broadcasted as a continuous stream.

Advantages & Disadvantage

  • the advantages are it has no TV licence
  • you can access it when you want
  • it is also potentially better quality ( more than one colour not black and white )
  • more accessible
  • your also in control which is important and even more exciting because you can do many things with it

The difference between Broadcast, and Non Broadcast, is that one has satellites and transmission masts to produce good media material that is only controlled by certain people ( not everyone ) and has a few features to the public, where as the other may want more internet connection for iPlayer and many more and we are able to locate and access the material, if it was to be pause, rewind, fast forward or to even stop a.
